It works on Color os phones such as Oppo and Vivo devices. Before attempting this, you have to make sure that you have all the drivers of your phones installed on your computer for the ADB setup. Don’t worry its quite easy installation; you’re on the right track. Follow the steps, and you’re good to go.!!!
- STEP 1: Check if you have installed all the drivers for your device. How to check? Easy, when you connect your device to PC, it should be installed without errors, or while using ADB Platform-tools, it shouldn’t show “No device found” when running the” adb devices ” command.
- If found any error, just download this zip file on your PC.
- Go to Start, type “device manager” open it, find the exclamation mark, right-click on it, Update the driver software> Browse from my computer> Let me pick option> Have disk> then browse the folder where the downloaded zip file is. This should work fine and make your device detectable.
- STEP 2: Once the above step is done, install the platform ADB tools for your operating system. Get it here.
- Step 3: Setting up the ADB tools:
On your Device, open settings, go to About Device. Find the MIUI version and click on it seven times. You should activate the developer option. Return to the settings in the main menu. Get inside additional options and then open developer options. Inside developer options, under debugging, enable USB Debugging.
Connect mobile phone to the computer via USB cable.
Now launch Platform ADB tools .
If you are doing it on Windows: Open the folder where the tools are stored. After opening the folder, press and hold shift key+right-click. Open Command prompt here. If you are using old windows version, it might be listed as “Open Command Prompt” option.
If you are Linux Mac: Open terminal and type: You can copy the code directly.
cd /<location of the tool>

cd /home
Once in the folder, Now the following steps are common for all types of PCs.
To connect the device via ADB type:

Check your phone and click ok on the prompt. Once done, we’re ready to remove the apps.
Step 4: REMOVE APPS
Now you need just to copy and run the commands from the below list for the app which you want to remove.
NOTE: The user should not remove the chrome app from their mobile devices, as it required for Webview implementation, so the command to remove the app is not listed below.
This will remove apps from your device and will return when you factory reset.
So if you mess something up while removing apps or the device isn’t operating as it should, do a factory reset to get out of trouble, and that’s a relief.

These apps are safe to remove and should not damage your device. If something happens, you can back up your files and folders and factory reset, but that won’t be needed.
